MANI TRUST during its operation period of 5 years has taken up many Social Programmes for the helpless and neglected people of Kalimpong and Darjeeling Districts. We have succeeded to reach and connect to the people who are in dire need of help and support and there are many more to whom we need to reach.
Healthcare is the right of every individual, but lack of proper infrastructure, inadequate and expensive medical facilities, under qualified medical practitioners, inaccessible medical assistance have contributed towards the deplorable health care condition of the rural population in Kalimpong and DarjeelingDistricts. Lack of proper implementation of various government policies and programmes, also aggravated the situation.
